There is little information available on Angelo Bufano. From what could be found, he was born in Pennsylvania in 1919. He graduated after four years of High School, and worked in a machine shop somewhere in Lackawanna County, PA, most likely in or near Scranton. Bufano enlisted in December of 1942, and was placed in the the 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division.
The knowledge of what unit he was in allows us to have a decent idea of where he died, as the 357th was committed in heavy action around the village of Beaucodray from the 5th of July to the 8th. Bufano most likely perished fighting in this battle, as the 357th sustained heavy casualties.
